Like millions of others this week, I'm grounded. No, I didn't get in trouble with my parents - my flight back to England is grounded because of the volcano in Iceland! For a lot of folks stranded in airports far from home, the volcano is no laughing matter. The ash cloud has covered most of Europe for nearly a week now, and is just now touching Canada. Hopefully things will start to change soon, and if the weather people are right (...) we'll be able to fly later this week. In the mean time, I'm just trying to focus on the humour - and there is humour - in the situation...
